Dispute Resolution

With over 15 years experience in dispute resolution and 35 years general property experience, Stephen Downham regularly receives appointments from both the President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and privately to act as Arbitrator or Expert on a number of property related issues including rent review and valuation disputes. He acts on both private matters and is appointed as a single Court Expert on various property related arguments. His experience encompasses all aspects of land and property including retail offices and industrial commercial property as well as residential property issues.

He regularly works with and instructs on behalf of clients' Leading Counsel, particularly on landlord and tenant issues. His Court experience includes not only written reports but also appearing as an Expert Witness.
